2 – the DVD release of REFINEMENTS IN LOVE by Impulse Pictures. REFINEMENTS IN LOVE is a wild 1971 mondo-sex documentary of which the only remaining 35mm print was found behind the screen at the Fox Cinema by Dimitrios Otis. (This true story is chronicled in a specially-commissioned mini-COMIC contained in CINEMA SEWER.)

4 – Robin Bougie (again!) debuting the all-new issue of his filthy porn comix anthology SLEAZY SLICE.
The new issue of Cinema Sewer magazine is ready to roll, and CS creator and porn aficionado Robin Bougie is launching it in the lobby of the infamous Fox Cinema at 2321 Main Street (near 7th). The unveiling starts at 7pm on Thursday February 21, and Bougie will also launch the all-new 2nd issue of his filthy 60 page porn comix anthology Sleazy Slice, and the long awaited 2nd volume of the cult hit RETARD-O-TRON video mixtape dvd!
Aside from the inherent fun of hanging out in a vintage porn theatre, CInema Sewer issue 21 is premiering at the Fox because the notorious adult cinema is featured in a fantastic comic that was specially commissioned for this issue. The comic, drawn by indy comic star Phill Barrett, chronicles the discovery of a lost porn movie which was directed by skin flick legend Carlos Tobalina way back in 1971. Titled "Refinements in Love", it includes an early, uncredited performance by soon-to-be sex movie star Rene Bond and is cheerily narrated by cult actress Liz Renay. The ultra-campy and super-odd mondo sex doc had all but disappeared from the face of the earth for the last 20 years -- and the really cool thing is that the 35mm print was discovered by Robin Bougie (along with fellow porn researcher Dimitrios Otis) and at the Fox Cinema!!
So it is only right that we celebrate at the scene, and reading about it in the new Cinema Sewer will be just the beginning. Once Bougie and Otis realized what they had discovered, Otis acquired the film and made a licensing arrangement with Impulse Pictures. So on this same thursday night, the professionally mastered DVD of "Refinements in Love" will also premiere at the Fox. That means FOUR NEW sinful, sexy products are launching at ONE fun event!
At this free event you can hang out in the Fox lobby, check out the gorgeous painted mural of Scott Baio in the ladies room, and access the private balcony upstairs which has a great view of the big screen. The movie will also be on monitor in the lobby. Note that if you do want to venture into the auditorium, you will have to cough up 9 bucks for the privilege.
And there's more. On display will be the super-rare Press Book for "Refinements in Love", which duplicates the colourful poster art. Copies of the DVD will be available to purchase at a reasonable cost and Bougie and Otis will have cool Fox theater logo t-shirts for sale.
Note that you must be at least 18 years old to enter the Fox Cinema.
